Get a head start on the school year this week
The school year officially starts up again in two weeks and Spring Valley High School's orientation week will make sure students are registered and ready for the new semester. For students who are new to town, Spring Valley will host a guided tour of the school at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2. Incoming freshmen will have a separate full-day orientation on Aug. 12. Parents of incoming freshmen are also invited to attend a parent orientation meeting from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Aug. 12. For returning students, orientation will take place on Aug. and Aug. 4 depending on grade level and last name.
