Second Arrest Made In ATM Robberies

Dedrea Rodriguez was arrested and charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of kidnapping and assault and battery.

Richland County deputies have arrested a second person in connection with three robberies at several northeast Columbia ATMs. Dedrea Rodriguez, 21, was arrested and charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of kidnapping and assault and battery. Rodriguez was arrested Aug. 5, 2011 by by Richland County Sheriff's Department in conjunction with the Charleston Police Department at 1385 Ashley River Road, Apartment 48-H, Charleston, without incident. Sheriff Lott said Rodriguez was the driver in the three robberies committed along with Kelley Tyler, 21, who was arrested July 26, 2011. Read our story about his arrest. Man Accused Of Robbing People At 3 Northeast ATMs Arrested In N.C.

He faces robbery, kidnapping, assault charges

Deputies arrested a man suspected in a string of northeast Columbia ATM robberies on Tuesday in Concord, N.C. Kelley Tyler, 21, was arrested and charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of kidnapping, and assault and battery. According to a release from the Richland County Sheriff's Department, deputies said Tyler robbed people at three different ATMs in the Spring Valley area on July 15. The first robbery occurred at the Bank of America ATM at 7373 Two Notch Road around 3 a.m. The release said that Tyler pushed a pistol into a woman's chest and demanded that she withdraw money before stealing her cell phone, money and car keys. The next robbery occurred more than 12 hours later at another Bank of America ATM at 2000 …
