Richland County is under a lake wind advisory until Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, with winds up to 25 mph.
Still, the eastern states are bracing for what else could happen on Monday night when hurricane Sandy is expected to make landfall.
The storm will likely miss the South Carolina coast and head towards New York City, but there is still a chance for strong winds, according to the National Weather Service.
