Join us at Sesquicentennial State Park for a guided nature walk as we explore Sesqui's sandhills and learn about this unique and delicate Carolina ecosystem. Participants will also find out what animals and plants call the park home while enjoying the sights and sounds of the forest. This program is designed for ages 5 and older. Adults must accompany children 15 and under. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. To register call (803) 788-2706 or e-mail sesqui@scprt.com. Registration deadline is Aug. 17. Meet at the Park Office. We recommend you dress appropriately for being outdoors and bring sunscreen and insect repellent.

More About Sesquicentennial State Park
Sesquicentennial State Park is a large community park and recreational area serving Columbia and the surrounding communities. The park has many areas and facilities, including camping sites, fishing, nature trails, a retreat center and a 6 mile long bike loop. Camping sites have individual water and 30 amp electrical hookups and there are 17 sites that can be used by RVs. There are also campfire rings and grills and tent pads. The park is great for special events, including family reunions and group gatherings. It also has a dog park area.
