Willie Nelson will be among the headliners when Zac Brown Band's Southern Ground Music and Food Festival returns for a third year to Charleston on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20. Returning to Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island, the festival will feature sets by Nelson, Band of Horses, The Head and the Heart, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Dawes, and Kacey Musgraves, among additional names to be announced soon. The culinary arts team competed in Charleston.
Blythewood High School's culinary arts team recently placed third in the state in at the 2013 ProStart Cooking Competition. Members include: James Williams, Michael Young, Ikea Woodall, David Litchford and Taylor Russell Members were awarded scholarship monies from Johnson & Wales University, LeCordon Bleu, The Art Institute of Charleston, The New England Culinary Institute, The Indiana Culinary Institute of Pennsylvania, and more.
