Wreck Slows Traffic on I-77

At least two cars and a tractor trailer were involved in the wreck.

A wreck slowed traffic on both sides of Interstate 77 near Blythewood Saturday morning.

People were injured in the crash that happened near mile marker 24 around 6:30 a.m., according to the S.C. Highway Patrol website.

Around 9 a.m., one car was still in the median and one car was in the left lane on the northbound side. On the southbound side, a tractor trailer carrying cars was in the trees.

The victim is my friend and fighting for his life right now! The at fault driver was drunk and driving to wrong direction. http://m.wltx.com/topstories/article?a=200925&f=1344

I am sorry for your friend. I have not heard any outcome, but he will be in my prayers. As will you and the rest of his friends.
