What Should Go Here? Sandhill Vol. 3
A large corner storefront at the Village at Sandhill begs for a tenant
What should go here?
It seems like an easy question, but with all the Village at Sandhill already has to offer, thinking of something new takes some creativity.
This storefront sits near Rita's far from Sandhill's Town Center Plaza. With electronics stores, hair salons and Bi-Lo nearby, what business would be perfect for this empty space?
The space is larger than many in the Village at Sandhill, but probably not large enough for a Trader Joe's, a business one reader suggested in a previous "What Should Go Here?"
So, do we need a new coffee shop or a new dry cleaner? A new romantic restaurant? Let us know your ideas in the comments section below.
Know of another empty storefront looking for a match? Let us know in the comments and we'll feature it.

I would like to put a Coffee Bar there, with wide Screen TV's, outdoor seating, weekend bands etc...

Good suggestion, James. As is clear from our coffee "Best of" this week (http://springvalley.patch.com/articles/best-of-patch-cup-of-coffee-18bf0882), we could use a coffee shop with some character. Plus, with the second Sandhill Starbucks closed, it would be nice to have more than just the drive-thru.

A cigar bar would be nice. They have one in the Harbison area that does well.

I seen that, they also have one on this side town off of Hard Scrabble. But I have not seen a true coffee bar here in columbia at all. Maybe there is not a large enough market for it.
