Murder Suspect Claims Church Parking Lot Death An Accident
The body of Johnette Pratt was found in a church parking lot on Aug. 7.
Darrell Lydell Griffin, 48, was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend, Johnette Pratt.
During the investigation, Griffin claimed he accidentally strangled Pratt, his girlfriend of six to eight months, a Richland County spokesman told Patch.
Pratt's body was found in the parking lot of Christian Faith Fellowship Church. Neither Griffin nor Pratt had any ties to the church, the spokesman said.
Preliminary autopsy reports showed that Pratt died from manual strangulation.
Investigators are looking into the claim that the murder was an accident.

Let me quess- rough sex- the choking game- ? either way- if his hands were on her throat- Tight enough to strangle her- He is a murderer-.. Adults know when they are chocking another person to death , if they can then- try to cover up and or lie about the events- that lead to her death-..
Does he have a record of abuse toward other life. If so, then it could very well be a pattern, not a accident.
Often, people in relationships with abusers- Don't know until that one time- they don't live to warn others!
