In the chilly penguin exhibit at Riverbanks Zoo, the unnamed baby penguin snuggles beneath its parents—both of which are not fond of humans coming near. If you're lucky enough to catch a glance, you'll see a fuzzy (yes, fuzzy!) baby who has yet to get its waterproof feathers. Soon enough it will be swimming in the front of the tank with the others, but today it's happy in the background.

And if you're wondering why they don't have names and why we keep calling them "its," here's your answer: Even the zoo employees don't know the gender of the birds yet.

In fact, DNA tests will have to be done to determine the gender.
