Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for burglary (see attached video). 

Lott said that at 5:50 a.m. on Friday, June 8, at the Econo Lodge on 7700 Two Notch Road, deputies responded to an armed robbery call. According to Lott, an unknown suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money from the register. 

Lott added that the suspect stole the cash and fled the business on foot (video surveillance equipment captures the suspect inside the business stealing the money). Before walking out, the robber threatens the clerk by pointing his gun at the clerk's head.

The suspect was wearing a black mask, camouflage jacket, black gloves, and black pants.
