Sheriff: Grant Had a Key to the Swainson Home
At a press conference, Sheriff Leon Lott showed a key that was found in Freddie Grant's home and opened the door to Gabbiee Swainson's front door.
From the start of the search for the missing 15-year-old, Gabbiee Swainson, investigators have said that there were no signs of forced entry to the home where Swainson was when she went missing.
Now, Sheriff Leon Lott said that mystery was solved.
A key found on a lanyard near Freddie Grant's front door fits the Swainson home, Lott said in a press conference Wednesday.
Grant was doing some work on the floors in the Swainson home when Elvia Swainson gave him a key, Lott said.
He later told Elvia Swainson that he lost the key.
Lott, as well as Grant's sister, said Elvia Swainson was dating Grant at the time of the disappearance.
Blood was found in Gabbiee Swainson's bed along with her DNA found at Grant's home, Lott said.
Video from the press conference will be uploaded shortly.

Just because a key to the Swainson house was found in Hunt's house doesnz't mean that's how he got into the house that night. With no forced entry, it's still possible he was in the house and spending the night with Gabbiee's mom that night and then did the unspeakable to Gabbiee's when mom left to go to work. It explains how he knew when to do what he did as well.

Personally,if there wasnt any sign of forced entry,he (Grant) would have been my first suspect.regardless if he say he lost the key are not,As a single parent if I felt my keys were lost,I would have had the locks replaced to secure my home, for my family sake.A lot dont add up,but time will tell.........overall I hope all is well with Gabiee more importantly
