District's newest high school opened August 2012.
Tucked away on a rural road in Blythewood sits Richland Two's newest high school, a massive complex with high-rising towers and scenic courtyards.
Some on a tour of Westwood High School Friday compared it to Duke University, complete with the faux-stone exterior.
Officials from Richland Two said the school had been under construction for more than two years and that they planned to begin moving furniture in sometime in May.
The school also includes a new district stadium, with a seating capacity of about 6,000. It will be home to the Redhawks football team and serve as an option in case of conflict at other Richland Two fields.
