Pet of the Week: Give Rita A Forever Home
The first installment of a weekly pet adoption series
The folks at SQ Rescue first found Rita on the side of the road, filled with buckshot. Since then, Rita has made a remarkable turnaround.
Rita is about three and a half years old, weighs about 60 pounds and is likely a pitbull-lab mix. SQ Rescue has been taking care of her for a while, but she needs to find a full-time home.
She's obedience trained, spayed and housebroken, so despite the bad rap of her breed, she's ready to become someone's new best friend. She doesn't get along very well cats or young children, but she could be yours for only a small adoption fee if you'll give her a good home.
Call 803-463-1251 or visit the SQ Rescue website for more info.

I have a black lab pit and bull mix who looks like it could be a littermate to Rita. He is the sweetest and most laid-back dog I could hope for. I sure hope somone gives this sweet girl a home.
