Gabbiee Swainson Update: Sheriff Searches for Accused Kidnapper's Employers
Sheriff Leon Lott will update the public on the search for Gabrielle Swainson on Thursday.
Investigators are looking into the behavior of Freddie Grant, the man accused of kidnapping Gabrielle Swainson after bloody duct tape was found in his home, but they need your help.
A press release sent out Wednesday afternoon asked that anyone who may have hired Grant as a landscaper or handyman come forward.
"Those he worked for may have valuable information on Grant’s behaviors, habits, tendencies or places he frequented," the release stated.
Officials ask that anyone that Grant may have worked for to please contact the Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit at 803-576-3187.
Richland County investigators, along with the FBI and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are continuing to search for Swainson.
The "very complex" investigation has led officials to comb through forensic evidence and canvass the communities where Swainson might be, according to the press release.
