Gabbiee Swainson's Accused Kidnapper Could Face Life in Prison on Ammo Charges

Freddie Grant was indicted on federal ammunition charges.

 

Freddie Grant, the man accused of kidnapping Gabbiee Swainson, was indicted in federal court on charges of being a felon in possession of ammunition, according to a US Attorney press release.

If convicted, Grant could face 10 years in prison. However, if the court deems Grant an "armed career criminal," he could face a minimum of 15 tears and a maximum sentence of life in prison. 

To be considered an "armed career criminal," Grant would have to be convicted of three violent felonies or drug charges. 

At this time, Grant has past drug convictions in Florida.
