Former Ridge View Star Taken by Rams in 2nd Round
Wide receiver Brian Quick was selected with the first pick of round two by St. Louis.
Brian Quick, who played just one year of football at Ridge View High School before becoming an all-time leading receiver at Appalachian State, was taken by the St. Louis Rams with the second pick of the 2012 NFL Draft on Friday night.
The Rams were looking for a skilled receiver at the top of the second round, and they found their answer with Quick.
Also taken in the second round were Alshon Jeffery from USC, defensive end Andre Branch from Clemson and tight end Dwayne Allen from Clemson.
