Fined Church Cited Again
Rehoboth United Assemblies Church went to court just last week for noise citations.
Police interrupted a church service Sunday morning when neighbors called about noise--again.
Just last week Rehoboth United Assemblies Church was fined $700 for noise citations. At that time, church leaders said they would monitor the noise during their worship.
On Sunday, neighbors complained again and police issues another citation, WLTX reports.
Church leaders told WLTX that they had already stopped worshipping after 10 p.m. and were limiting the use of microphones.

When are these people going to learn that their beliefs do not put them above the law? The fine should be doubled with every complaint.

Ken, the church in question has been in the same location for 30 years... The "townhomes" built around the area, one being within 20 ft. of the church, clearly not as long maybe in the last 1-3 yrs.? So when you buy next to a CHURCH what were you expecting during services no sound at all?

Noise Compliants are bein used as a means of legally removing these people from their property. No matter how hard they may try, they will never satisfy their complainers. The complainers want them gone. If the church hasn't already, they need to seek legal advise. Woody

That is just pathetic, People are worshipping the lord. If you dont like it move or use ear plugs. I remember the times i was in church til 1am. I would rather hear church then darn rap music. They fine a church but hell why not do something about residents or cars play loud music. Ann

Bible say MAKE A JOYFUL NOIS UNTO THE LORD........ what happen to sound barriey fences. This just go to show you God's gona get tired C P D need to be on the look out for the lord' when he step in there wont be a thing they can do let's pray for them and anyone else who have nything to do with this. Some time it might look like we are winning..... in the mean time we are loosing when God is in control.

One of the most dumbest things ever!!! Just a means to push the church out of the community. as my pastor says "there are some things only a devil will do" The Bible says make a joyful noise.. It also says to praise HIM with the timbrel, in the dance, cymbals, psaltery, harp, instruments..so what do you expect. these complainers obviously don't know that, if they did there wouldn't be a complaint. they are on holy ground being built around a church. the devil cant stand in the presence of God..That's why their mad

Complainers beware.. God doesn't take lightly people touching his people. case in point. my manager would always pick on me for no reason, she had so much tension within her towards me. the only thing i ever did was smile and say yes ma'am. After all of her shenanigans, God stepped in and mad her pay for mistreating me.. She was demoted to a sales clerk and my little ol department manager position was now higher than hers. shes not the only one. the same thing happened to the next female manager I had who mistreated me for no reason. The devil don't like it when you're blessed like that, but God has a plan for him so the complainers need to beware before unemployment and eviction happen to them for messing with God's service and God's people. im telling you what I know.
