$1 DVDs at Blockbuster Closing Sale

Blockbuster on Hardscrabble going out of business

A Blockbuster in Northeast Columbia is selling everything in its store at extremely discounted rates.

The video store at 2110 Clemson Road is going out-of-business and selling off everything from DVDs to popcorn bags to store shelves.

Everything in the store is at least 70 percent off, with hundreds of DVDs selling for $.99 each. Popcorn and bottled waters are also available for less than $1.

More popular items including full seasons of televisions shows like Weeds and The Office are priced around $4 each.

Many of the cheap DVDs do not come with movie cases, but the selection includes many recently released movies like Invictus and The Social Network. In addition, Academy Award winners Gran Torino and Slumdog Millionaire were availble for less than $1 as of Wednesday evening.

Items in the store are available on a first-come, first-served basis and all sales are final.

In addition to store merchandise, shelves, desks and countertops are also for sale. For more information, visit the store location on Clemson Road.
